He is survived by: his daughters, Susan Grom of Columbus, OH and Laura Sowards of Beavercreek, OH; his stepdaughters, Jessica of Loveland and Emily Chriswell (Brian) of Kettering, OH; and his brother Charles Sowards (Susan). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren.
