We bid farewell to Reda Carol Helton of Evansport, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 14, 2025 at the age of 84. Reda touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Hughes and Margaret Eva Hughes (Solomon); her husband Foye Helton; and her siblings, Trula and Delano.
She is survived by: her pet Tilly; her sons, Dave Helton (Jill) of Defiance and John Helton of Defiance; her grandsons, Chad Helton (Andrea), Jordan Helton and Casey Helton (Lauren); her great grandchildren, Blake, Gunner, Lindy and Baylor; and her sister-in-law EllaMae Rodi. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Schaffer Funeral Home (529 Jefferson Ave, Defiance, OH 43512). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
