Joan E. Shima Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan E. Shima of Euclid, Ohio, who passed away on June 11, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Noonan and Anna Noonan; her husband James Shima; and her daughter Karen Leonard. She is survived by: her sons, Daniel Lesler (Joan) of Euclid and Nick Bogdan (Heather) of Frisco, Texas; her son-in-law Robert Leonard of Niles, Ohio; and her grandchildren, Kara Stanford, Kyle Leonard (Samantha), Kelly Hutton (Ben), Daniel Lesler, Jr., Megan Lesler, Alyssa Bogdan and Nicholas Bogdan. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that material tributes take the form of contributions to Our Lady of Lourdes Shrine at 21281 Chardon Rd., Euclid, Ohio 44117.
