He was predeceased by: his father Charles Rapinz; and his brother Charles Rapinz, Jr. (Jim). He is survived by: his mother Elizabeth Rapinz; his wife Susan "Suzy"; his pet Rizzo Marie; his siblings, Charlene Rapinz, Robert Rapinz (Pam), Susan Haverlock, Lisa Rapinz, Thomas Rapinz (Brian Piscalko) and Mary Lou Purtell (Scott); his mother-in-law Hulda Mae Cramer (Wassum); and his brothers-in-law, Larry Cramer (Cynthia), David Cramer (Juli) and Kenny Cramer (Sandy). He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
During COVID, Jim would bring Suzy's lunch up to her in her makeshift home office.
