He was predeceased by: his parents, Heinrich Hess and Emma Hess; and his sister Ursula Brocone. He is survived by: his wife Ursula; his niece Petra Cline (Scott); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Rachael Toby (Michael), Danielle Peterson (Jason) and Gene Brocone (Anna); and also Anthony. He is also survived by 10 nieces and nephews.
