He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Johnny James Jr. and Edna Joanne Payne Bass; his wife Janice Harper; his sons, Greg James II and Joey James of Euclid Ohio; his sisters, Carol Petty, Lori Lafferty and Raelene Holland of Bidwell Ohio; his siblings-in-law, John Harper of Gallipolis, Paula Jackson (Keith) of Alvin and Sylvia Hammack of Richmond; his grandchildren, Jordan James, Paige Taylor, Brooklyn James, Kobe James and Gregory James III; his close friend Mary Cordell; his cousins, Dave Boyd, Terry Payne, Richard Payne and Donna Boyd; his brothers-in-law, Greg Lafferty, Robert Hammack and George Petty; his nephew Tony Petty; and his parents-in-law, John Harper and Emilia Harper. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
