He was predeceased by: his parents, Anecito and Candida; his parents-in-law, Carrie and Rudolph Strainic; his siblings-in-law, Rita and Domenick Giangiacomo; and his cousin Anita Colitti.
He is survived by: his wife Marlene; his children, Sandra Erney (Jeffry), Jo Dorado-Clair (Drew), Anthony Patfield and James Dorado (Leslie); his grandchildren, Angela Oleszczuk (Talon), Katie Pepper (Daz), Jeffrey Erney, Olivia Dorado and Matthew Dorado; his great grandchildren, Charlie Pepper, Marin Oleszczuk, Connor Dorado and Adalie Oleszczuk; his niece Gina Herak (Jim); his nephew Raymond Giangiacomo (Diane); and his siblings, Zayde D. Liboon, Crisustoro Dario Dorado, Silvestre Dorado, Renee D. Tan, Rilthe Lain Dorado, Domingo Levi Dorado and Godeliva Dorado.
