He was predeceased by: his wife Agnes. He is survived by: his children, Jodi Meyer (Edgar) of Suffield, Charles Jr. (Michelle) of Cleveland and Jim B. (Tracy) of Wickliffe. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Alszeimer's Assoc.
