He was predeceased by: his father Homer Heiden; and his son Thomas James "Tommy". He is survived by: his mother Lois Heiden; his daughter Jennifer Heiden; his siblings, Thomas (Dorothy), Kathy Reed (Barry) and William (Jane); and his niece Katie Reed. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
