He was predeceased by: his son James A. Jakovlic; his parents, Andrew Jakovlic and Catherine Jakovlic; and his siblings, George Jakovlic, Katherine Kovasky, Marlene Schaefer and Diane Ellis.
He is survived by: his spouse Phyllis M. Jakovlic; his children, Andrew M. Jakovlic Jr (Roberta), Robert P. Jakovlic (Corinne), Thomas M. Jakovlic (Ruth) and John J. Jakovlic (Jean); his grandchildren, Jacob, Gabriel, Nathan, Sarah, Ryan, Wyatt, Evan, Avery and Ian; and his sibling Ann Shimenski. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
