He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence P. Rose and Marlene C. Rose (Nehr); his brother Mike Rose; his daughter Amye Rose; and his grandson Connor Williams.

He is survived by: his children, Angela (Guy Lippoldt), Rebecca (Jerry Williams), Andrew Rose of Kettering, Anastasia Rose of Anna and John Rose of Enon; his siblings, Joe Rose (Karen), Evelyn McCarty (Pat) and Mary Schenk (Jeff); his grandchildren, Zachary, Devin, Jessica, Corey, Blake, Lillian and Emmett; and his great grandchildren, Alice and Declan. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
