He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Barker and Hannah Barker (Dishner); his wife Mary Barker; his brothers, Shurral Barker and Henry Barker; and his daughter Cynthia Riner.

He is survived by: his children, Daryl Barker (Angela) of New Carlisle, Victoria DeWitt (Keith Parson) of Springfield, Cheryl Stanley of Indian Trail, NC, Timothy Barker (Mary) of New Carlisle and Teresa Barker (Tony Hammond) of Enon. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.
