He is survived by: his wife Barbara Byrd (Vanscoy); his daughters, Leslie Perkins (Jason) and Kimberly Byrd; his brother Keith Byrd; his siblings-in-law, Danny, Matthew Vanscoy, Stan Ruff and Kathy Young (Vanscoy); his grandchildren, Austin Tyler Byrd, Cierra, Emily Eicholtz and Emma Perkins; his great grandchildren, Matthew and James McCreary; his nieces and nephews, Karl Ruff, David Vanscoy, Elizabeth Rose (Vanscoy), Denton Young (Maria), Mandi (Young), Barclay (Curt), Tammy (Byrd) and Calloway (James); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jacob Vanscoy, Sara Rose, Caleb, Brooke, Silas Barclay, Aria Young, Annabelle Lopez, Ariana of Brianna, JJ and Jayda Calloway.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
