He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernice Louise Schumann (Cox) and Richard Jackson "Dick" Schumann. He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Patty" Schumann (Scaife); his sister Candice Schumann Tobey; his brother-in-law Carl Payne Tobey of San Antonio, TX; his son Richard Jeffrey "Jeff" Schumann; his grandchildren, Emma, Jackson, Roscoe and Alexandra; and his nephews, Richard Payne Tobey (Jan) of San Antonio, TX and John Schumann Tobey. He is also survived by several cousins and beloved friends.
In lieu of flowers the family would like donations to be made in his name to the Clark County SPCA or the PuPs program in Springfield.
