He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis Whitt and Anna Whitt; his siblings, Charles Whitt and Wanda Lakey; and his son Richard Whitt.
He is survived by: his wife Mildred (Dearth); his children, Patricia Whitt and William Whitt; his daughter-in-law Marilyn (Trisel); his grandchildren, Jacob, Erica and Kyla Whitt; and his great grandchildren, Benjamin, Molly, Christian, Payton and Alexis.
