He was predeceased by: his parents, George Frater and Rosamond Frater (Beery). He is survived by: his wife Alice Frater (Smock); his children, Steve Frater and Sue; his son-in-law David Wood; his granddaughter Stephanie Frater; his grandson-in-law Jeff Cooper; his great grandchildren, BriAnna Frater, Vivienne Cooper and Jonathan Cooper; and his great great grandchild Lucas Cheadle.
