She was predeceased by: her parents, John Lorentz and Madeline Lorentz. She is survived by: her husband Donald Allen; her children, Trudy (Michael Thomas), Jeffrey (Laura Allen), Diana Mefford of Enon and Ryan (Morgan Allen); her adoptive daughter Amanda Richendollar of Enon; her grandchildren, Heather (Robert Powell), Rachel Thomas, Nichole Allen, Dakota (Michael Brickman), Johnathan Eckler-Allen, Patrick Eckler-Allen and Madison Jaymes Elizabeth Allen; her great grandchildren, Lydia and Amelia Powell; and her siblings, Donald Lorentz, Betty Carmen and Jeanette Lorentz (Jeanie).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Heart Foundation and/or the James Cancer Research Center in Columbus, Ohio, Ohio State University.
