He was predeceased by: his parents, Grant Merrill and Myrtle Larson Merrill; and his sister Dianne Jacobsen. He is survived by: his sister Nancy Bunton; his nieces and nephews, Merrill Anne Spring, Matt, Julie Corollo, Joe, George Yelton, Diane, Eric Jacobsen, Jesslyn Yelton, Kaci Luth, David, Noah Spring, Sam Spring and Elijah Yelton; and his great-nephew Calvin Yelton.
