Ella Jurrene Shaffer Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ella Jurrene Shaffer of Enon, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 22, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Maynard "Dumpy" Baker and Mildred "Fuzzy" Baker (Neese); her husband Donald Shaffer; and her grandson Alexander. She is survived by: her children, Amy Hogue (Joseph) and Andrew Shaffer (Tammie); her grandsons, Joel and Grant; her close friends, Carol Maiorano and Stephanie Waszczak; and her pet Toby.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 24th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Vernon Funeral Home (235 Miami St, Urbana, OH 43078). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 24th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association (225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601) or a charity of choice.
