She was predeceased by: her father Virgil Whited; her siblings, Beatrice Provosto, Lillian Coulson, Harold Whited and Kenneth Whited; and her son Michael S. Kanney.
She is survived by: her husband John Thacker of Enon; her children, Cindy Spitler (James) of Fredericksburg, Janet Hopper (Kenny) of Springfield, OH, Marsha (Sam) of Speedwell, Tennessee, John Thacker (Rebecca) of Ladera Ranch, David Thacker (Jackie) of Thomasville and Jimmy Thacker (Debby) of West Virginia; her siblings, Charles Whited, Juanita, Patty and Denise; her grandchildren, Amy, Jay, Janna, Allen, Caren, Crystal, Tiffany, Nathan, Ian, Bailey, Ryan and Colin; and her friend Doris. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, neighbors.
