He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude "Whitey" Heishman and Gladys "Tia" Heishman (Chumley); his son Wayne R. Wilson, Jr.; and his brother Charles Heishman. He is survived by: his wife Joy; his daughter-in-law Patty Wilson; his grandson Wayne III Wilson (Katie); his great grandchild Wayne Wilson IV; and his sisters, Claudia J. Johnson and Marsha Reid. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Calendar Belton Stroup Funeral Home (422 E Dayton Yellow Springs Rd, Fairborn, OH 45324).
