He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Yates and Virginia Yates (Jenny); and his brother-in-law Thomas Kochel. He is survived by: his wife Peggy; his daughter Erin; his siblings, Fred Yates (Kay) of Libertyville, IL, Cheryl Wire (William) of Nashville, TN, Pam Kochel of Huber Heights, OH, Susan Landis (Bill) of Petoskey, MI, Cynthia Storie (Larry) of Vandalia, OH and Mark Yates of Brookville, OH; and his pets, Ginger and Rusty. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
