She was predeceased by: her parents, Fannie Evans (Blankenship) and Lewis Evans; and her siblings, Thelma Bryant (Lloyd), Mildred Ketch and Charlie Blankenship.
She is survived by: her children, Jackie L. McCarley and Timothy E. McCoy; and her grandchildren, Shawn (Nikki), Austin, Paige, Todd and Melissa. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, along with numerous relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Dayton for their tremendous hospitality and care they continuously showed Sylvia and her family.
