He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Barton and Mabel Barton; his wife Mary Barton (Miller); his children, Rhonda Pegg (Mark) and Robert E. Jr. Barton (Sandy); his granddaughters, Ruth Lavoie (Steve) and Rebekah Barton; and his great grandchild Landen Pearson.
Due to COVID-19 guidelines, there will be a walk-through visitation (masks required and practice social distancing), Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at Kindred Funeral Home, 400 Union Boulevard starting at 1:00 pm, followed by funeral services at 2:00 pm with Pastor Clifford Hurst presiding.
