He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Coppersmith and Mary Ward (Blakeman); his stepfather Leonard Ward; his siblings, Sue Riffe and Jim Coppersmith; and his grandchildren, Grace and Elijah.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanene A. Coppersmith (Eaton); his children, Jamie Coppersmith (Lisa), Jodi Budde (John) and David Coppersmith (Stephanie); his sisters, Pat Cleavinger (Don) and Phyllis Teeters; his sister-in-law Ruthie Coppersmith; and his grandchildren, Taylor, Molly, Asher, Emma, Gabrielle, Penelope, Amelia and Brantley. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep.
