He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Hatley and Dorothy Hatley Sr.; his sisters, Juanita Martin and Patty Terry; and his grandson Paul Douglas Hatley III.

He is survived by: his children, Patricia "Patty" Beavers and Paul Hatley Jr.; his grandchildren, Landon St (Zach), Zach Getter, Madison Getter and Natalie Hatley; his great grandchild Logan "LJ" Daniel Beavers; and his siblings, Bill Hatley, Keith Marshall, Theresa Thomas and Jesse Hatley Jr.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
