He was predeceased by: his mother Clisty Fields (Burkhart); his grandson Kameron Maynard; his daughter-in-law Joan Fields; and his siblings, Ray, Lloyd, Robert Fields, Dorothy Fraley, Flossie Campbell, May Gay and Margaret Hurley.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Fields (Susan Rehmert), Deborah Fields and Danny Fields; his grandchildren, Michael Scott Fields (Sara) and Porsha Neal; his great grandchildren, Taylor Fields and Charlotte Fields; his sister Georgette Wireman (Ralph); and his former wife Norma Fields. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
