He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse L. McDaniel and Mamie Doyce McDaniel (Carroll); his daughter Cynthia Soter; and his siblings, Doris Ann McDaniels and John McDaniels.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou McDaniels (Kotlarsic); his son Michael McDaniels (Elizabeth); his son-in-law Wesley Soter of Trotwood; his grandchildren, Jacob Soter (Jenna), Joshua Soter, Adam McDaniels, Catherine McDaniels and Colin McDaniels; and his siblings, Jim McDaniels (Phyllis), David McDaniel (Barbara) of Englewood, William McDaniels (Gloria Jean) of Union, Doyce "Dottie" Crider (Britt) of Englewood and Sue Cribbs. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
