We are sad to announce that on September 12, 2020, James W. Hampton of Englewood, Ohio, born in Ethridge, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Felma Hampton (Hammett) and Rev. Thomas Hampton; his former wife Barbara England (Stevens); his children, Brenda Fox and Greg Hampton; and his aunts and uncles, Helen Hobart (Hammett), Ruby Hammonds (Hammett), Dewey Hammett, Leon Hammett, John Hammett, Charles Hammett, Max Hammett and Ray Hammett.
He is survived by: his former wife Judith L. Clark; his daughter Nancy M. Meeker (Bobby); his grandchildren, Michele Tankersley (Patrick), Bobby Meeker (Carman), Alyssa Hampton and Nathan Hampton; his children, Allen Hampton (Nadine), Karen Bradshaw (Jeff) and Tammy McDuffie; and also James K. Hampton (Carolyn). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
