It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jack Karstens of Englewood, Ohio, born in Elmhurst, Illinois, who passed away on January 13, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Mildred E. Sneddon; his son Craig Karstens; and his granddaughter Cindy Brumbaugh. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Karstens (Marzolf); his children, Kurt Karstens (Carole) of Pittsburgh, PA and Karen Brumbaugh (Delvin) of Arcanum, OH; his grandchildren, Jack Karstens, Katie Karstens, Gwen, Simon Boone, Shelly and Jason Garber; his sister Pat Grossi of New Jersey; and his siblings-in-law, Duane and Kathy DuBois of New York.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Kreitzer Funeral Home (204 N Main St, Arcanum, OH 45304). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
