He was predeceased by: his parents, George Avery and Marjorie Tate (Burton). He is survived by: his children, Bob Tate of Englewood, OH and Colonel Kathryn "Cricket" Tate (Chief Master Sergeant); his grandson Bailey Tate; and also Patty Smith of Englewood, OH. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
