He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce Joan Day (Phillips); his son Douglas P. Day; his parents, Robert Day and Melva Day (Wolfe); and his brothers, John, Robert and James Day.
He is survived by: his children, Debbie (Greg Kopp), Diane (Cole Kiser) and Drew; his daughter-in-law Kathleen Day of Rock Hill, SC; his grandchildren, Nathan Kopp (Melissa), Brett Kopp (Amber), Jordan Kopp (Kendra), Kylie Kopp-Simon (Cody), Briona, Blake, Cole Kiser, Rebecca, Erin and Lorna Day; and his great grandchildren, Anderson, Alex, Lucy, Jasa, Collins Kopp and Ty Simon. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
