He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Parnell Byers and Mildred Vitella; and his siblings, Leslie, Evelyn, Marilene, Patty and Melanie.
He is survived by: his wife Saundra Jean Hall Byers; his daughters, Darla Baker (Jeff) and Dianna Floyd (Joe); his grandchildren, Rachel Sidwell (Josh), Joseph Floyd (Kacee), Sarah Couch (Duke), Megan Pickens (Marc), Angela Floyd (Richie), Amy Baker, Michael Paul Baker (Mackenzie) and Michael Brian Floyd (Kelsey); and his great grandchildren, Devin, Kaden, Jaxson, Alicia, Coleson, Jonas, Maggie, Claire and Emily. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
