He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Hoyng and Carolyn "Carrie" Hoyng (Boeke); and his brother Mark Hoyng. He is survived by: his wife Vicki Hoyng (Goffos); his children, Jill Miller (Shaun) and Christopher; his siblings, Mary Ann Reichert (Gene), John Hoyng and Rita Haliena (Gary); his siblings-in-law, Linda Hoyng and Edward "Butch" Goffos; and his grandsons, Samuel, Benjamin and Elliott. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society and Hospice of Dayton.
