It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Mabel Brecht of Englewood, Ohio, born in Dayton, Ohio, who passed away on August 11, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond Brecht; her daughter Gayle Shannon; her parents, Leona Graham and Uriah Somers; her brother George Somers; and her stepsister Nellie Mae Mulligan.
She is survived by: her daughters, Barb Brecht (Carolynn Rudy) and Lynn Cooper (Rusty); her grandchildren, Lisa Shannon (Dale Farmer), Mike Shannon, Mara Dalton and Lewie Hughes; and her daughter Jan Zykoski. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
In this time of the pandemic, they did everything possible to ensure her safety and make her transition easier.
