He was predeceased by: his parent Elmer; his wife Nancy; his granddaughters, Sarah Sowers and Jessica Kelley; and his siblings, Edythe, Lillie, Glenn, Marlin and Vernon.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Sowers (Damewood); his son Ronald Sowers (Susan); his grandchildren, Joshua Sowers (Emily), Elizabeth Blanchard (Matthew), Amy Hoff (Jamie) and Michael Hughes (Mary); his great grandchildren, Oliver Sowers, Rebecca Zornick, Grace Blanchard and Maya Katherine Hoff; his sister Jane Guerriero (John); his grandchildren, Kurt Kelley (Brooks) and Johnny Damewood; his great grandchildren, Gabriella Kelley, Gracelynn Kelley and Jackson Kelley; and also, Linda Kelley (Keith) and French J. Damewood (Sandra).
