The passing of Wilma J. Denman of Elyria, Ohio, born in Glouster, Ohio leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on December 28, 2024 at the age of 101. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Earl B.; her parents, Charlie Sorrell and Eva Sorrell; and her siblings, Charles, Leonard, Frank Sorrell, Rhea Whitlatch, Helen Mellinger, Charleseinne Puhaly and Mary Margaret Petrus.
She is survived by: her children, Michael L. Denman (Mary Lou) of Elyria, Cathy J. George (Frederick) of Wellington and Tamara L. Broome of Elyria; and her sister-in-law Elmira Sorrell of LaGrange. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service (323 Middle Ave, Elyria, OH 44035). A graveside service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Brookdale Cemetery (41600 Oberlin Elyria Rd, Elyria, OH 44035).
