He was predeceased by: his parents, George Knowlton and Viola Knowlton. He is survived by: his spouse Emma; his sons, William (Sue), Robert (June), Richard (Jennifer) and David (Debi); and his siblings, Charolette Van Boven and Dale Knowlton. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
