He was predeceased by: his sons, Jason, Joey, Jonathan and Joshua; his mother-in-law Betty Lou Tallman; his parents, William Wiggins and Betty Jane Campbell; and his sisters, Toni and Carol.

He is survived by: his wife Kimberly; his children, Jeremie Wiggins (Gina), William Wiggins II (Shay) and Jenni Smith (Mike); his grandchildren, Courtney, Bubba, Chase, Brooke, Emilee, Lily, Josh, Maddie, Gabby, Gracie and William R. III; his great grandchildren, Landen, Alaina, Hadley and Raelynn; and his sisters, Barbara, Brenda, Patricia, Marlene and Darlene.
