He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn Kopis; his son Timothy Kopis; and his granddaughter Angelica Szlanfucht. He is survived by: his children, Tamera Kopis, Charles Kopis and Kimberly Munoz; his brother John "Doug" Cole; his aunts, Norma Stechow and Ginny Tracey; and his close friend Judith Erwin. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
