He is survived by: his children, Erik Hayes of Elyria and Kandice Schneider (Eric) of Fort Myers, FL; his sister Karen Ramirez (Joseph) of Elyria; and his former wife Carolyn Hayes. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
