He was predeceased by: his parents, William Thomasson and W. Mary Thomasson; his sons, William E. III and Gerald; and his brother James.
He is survived by: his wife Pamela; his children, Tammy Lattimer (Gerald), Tom (Becky) and Ted (Kelly); his sister Susie Maiden (Tom); and his sister-in-law Joan Thomasson. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren.
