It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Varilla Lenore Knight of Elyria, Ohio, born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on September 20, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Varilla leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Varilla may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clark Davis and Flossie Davis; and her siblings, Arietta Misch and Leon Davis. She is survived by: her children, Richard Knight (Sherri) of LaGrange, Dr. Donna Knight (John) of Sheffield Village and Deborah Lauricia (Anthony) of Myrtle Beach. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren with one on the way, and one great-great granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, or to the Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS) Foundation, in Varilla's honor.
