He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Thorpe and Darlene Thorpe; his grandparents, Jessie and Naomi Thorpe; his stepmother Josephine Thorpe; his godfather George Hodge; his brothers, Gregory Thorpe and Karlton Mosby; and his uncle Kanses.
He is survived by: his close friend Laurie Harris; his sons, Tyrone Thorpe Jr. and Cory Thorpe; his stepsons, Jason and Marcus; his grandchildren, Meriah Harris, Candice, Bryson, Dytanya and Yolanda Allgood; and his siblings, Iris Hammons, Gloria Hurdle (James), Kenneth C. Thorpe (Candy), Isaiah J. Thorpe (Karen), Jama, Box and Isreal. He is also survived by nieces, and nephews.
