She was predeceased by: her parents, John Burnett and Wanda Burnett; and her brother John Burnett. She is survived by: her husband Paul J. Schmidt, Sr.; her children, Shelley Merkin (Richard), Paul Schmidt, Jr. (Lorri), Kevin Schmidt and Brian Schmidt (Tonya); her grandchildren, Brandon, Kyle Merkin, Andrew, Alex Schmidt, Breana (Dennis), Drew and Griffin Schmidt; her great grandchildren, Paxton, Lilah, Rhemi and Rowan; and her brothers, Craig and Duane Burnett (Sherilyn).

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 10501 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland 44106.
