He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer and Edna; his siblings, Patricia, Donna and John; and his pet Sam.
He is survived by: his wife Cathy; his son Matt Houghtland; his granddaughters, Briana and Eleana; his great grandchild Jaxson; his siblings, Nancy, Pam, Judy, Tammy and Ronnie; and his pets, Max and Milo.
