He is survived by: his wife Sandra Sanders; his children, Jeffrey Lynn Sanders, Richard Allen Sanders, Stephen Larry Sanders Jr. and Tammie Whitten; and his siblings, Barney Sanders, Rodney Sanders, Timothy Sanders (Diane), Janice Rucker (Jim) and Pam Moore (Roger). He is also survived by five grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
