With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ronald Long Sr. of Elyria, Ohio, born in Lorain, Ohio, who passed away on January 7, 2021 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce; his parents, William Long and Gladys Long; and his siblings, Robert, Wayne, Dennis Long and Kaye Rollins.

He is survived by: his children, Ronald S. Long, Jr. of Elyria, Peggy S. Wilson of Amherst, Richard D. Long (Julie) of Elyria, Pamela J. Marquardt (Hal) of Elyria, Russell A. Long (Robin) of Elyria and Penny M. Spurlock (Edward) of Prospect, Ohio. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Second Harvest Food Bank of North Central Ohio, 5510 Baumhart Road, Lorain, Ohio 44053.
