It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Marlon Metcalf of Elyria, Ohio, born in Amherst, Ohio, who passed away on June 23, 2024, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Malcolm "Ted" Metcalf and Gwendolyn Metcalf; his siblings, Jonathan, Keith and Nichole; his nephews, Jon, Jason and Timothy; his great-niece Mya; and his stepchildren, Michael and Alyssia.
He is survived by: his wife Debbie; his stepchildren, Christina (Keith), Robert (Kaitlyn) and Brandon (Michelle); his stepgrandchildren, Monica, Karissa, Alexander, Aliyah, Alexis, Ethan, Destinee, Cole, Gavin, Carter, Maddy of Colin, C. J. and Anna; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Theo and Luka; and his siblings, James (Janie), Debbie, Tim, Chris, Emma (Mike) and Carolyn. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with expenses.
