He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey E. Hahn and Martha Hahn; and his brothers, Harvey and Hal. He is survived by: his wife Catherine; his children, Philip (Debbie) of Dublin, Jeffrey (Pam) of Elyria, Cheryl Shultzaberger (Randy) of Elyria and Christine Thompson (Steve) of LaGrange; and his grandchildren, Susan Croston (Josh), Randall M. Shultzaberger (Mandy), Joesph Hahn (Corin), Karen Hahn and Ashley Edwards (Vanderbilt). He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
